Instadiagnostics’ mission is to give healthcare professionals the capability to perform a majority of blood/saliva/swab/urine tests at their clinics on a single, user-friendly diagnostic system.

Instadiagnostics’ product is a diagnostic technology platform consisting of a portable, multi-modality reader (InstaReader) and disposable, self-contained, and application specific cartridges (InstaCartridges). The InstaReader runs
(1) Immunoassay cartridges based on high sensitivity, multiplexed piezoelectric sensors
(2) Chemistry assay cartridges based on multi-spectral sensors
(3) Molecular assay cartridges based on multi-spectral sensors
(4) Complete Blood Cell Counts (CBC) based on electroimpedance spectroscopy (EIS)
The InstaCartridges contain all necessary reagents on board and automatically perform fluid handling tasks of sample processing (e.g. extracting plasma from whole blood, DNA/RNA separation), sample metering (for quantitative results), dilutions, heating, and incubation.
This fully automated system will minimize user errors by only requiring the deposition of unprocessed sample on the InstaCartridges followed by its insertion into the InstaReader that then recognizes the selected cartridge and runs the necessary assay automatically. The results are displayed on an interactive screen in 10-30 minutes. The InstaReader will run a wide range of disposable test cartridges, enabling healthcare providers to purchase, maintain, calibrate, and train employees on a single system.
